Getting Started with EH Active & the Be Well App

Step 01: Register an Account

  • Go to ehactive.thrives.app/login

  • Click “Don’t have an account? Register Now.”

  • Fill out the registration form.

  • Check your email for a confirmation with your username and a link to access the platform.

Step 02: Download the Mobile App

  • Once your account is created, we recommend using the Be Well mobile app to easily track your activity.

  • Download the Be Well app, created by TerryBerry, from the App Store (iPhone) or Google Play (Android).

  • Log in with the username and password you just created.

  • Connect your preferred tracker: Apple Health, Fitbit, or Garmin (if available).

  • Add your profile photo so the community knows who you are!

  • On the “Find Your Next Challenge” page, join the EH Active Challenge. This is where the magic happens—our community connects here, shares progress, and stays inspired.

  • Hit “Let’s Go!” and you’re in!


Using the Be Well app

Activity Log

Automatically Track Your Progress with Ease:

If you’re connected to a compatible device or health app, your steps will sync automatically—no extra effort needed. Keep an eye on your daily steps and activities right in the Be Well app.

Manually Track Your Steps in the Mobile App:

  • Tap the Activity icon at the bottom of the screen.

  • Toggle to Activity Log to see a daily summary of your activities.

For Cyclists, Swimmers, and Other Activities

If your activity isn’t walking or running, you’ll need to add all of your exercise manually because the app only tracks in steps:

  • Open the Be Well mobile app and make sure you are on  the activity shoe menu icon at the bottom of the screen.

  • Tap the “+” button.

  • Under “Add Details”, select the purple jump rope icon “Activities/Exercise” and search for your activity (e.g. cycling, swimming, yoga).

  • Enter your activity length and save. Be Well will automatically translate your activity into steps.

Challenges

To truly enjoy the EH Active community, you need to join us in the challenges. By taking part in each new challenge, you not only track your own progress but also see how your steps compare with other community members. You can post pictures and comments within each challenge, and you’ll also learn more about the nonprofit we are raising funds for. 

Mobile App

  • Tap the Trophy icon.

  • Select a challenge to view details.

We recommend clicking “Subscribe to Discussion” at the bottom of the challenge activity to stay updated and engaged.

Desktop Browser

  • Go to the Challenges tab.

  • Select the challenge you want to join.

We recommend clicking “Subscribe to Discussion” at the bottom of the challenge activity to stay updated and engaged.

Tip: Share updates, photos, and more directly in the challenge feed to connect with other members.

Groups

Connect with friends and teams to stay motivated.

Mobile App

  • Tap the Group icon at the bottom of the screen.

  • Toggle between Friends and Teams.

  • Friends: See each other’s daily activities.

  • Teams: Join or create groups for extra accountability.
